Manchioneel Bay
Go snorkeling at Cistern Point or find yourself scuba diving on the RMS RHONE with a couple of hours training from Dive BVI!
Cooper Island Beach Club Gift Shop.
Manchioneel Bay is an open anchorage road and only the mooring-field area is protected from swells that slip around Quart-a-Nancy Point. The outer moorings are often uncomfortable and anchoring any farther west than the last line of mooring balls can make for a lousy night’s sleep.
Cooper Island Beach Club
With a wonderful beach along with a restaurant and hotel with a gift shop, Cooper Island Beach Club is also home to a Dive BVI full service dive shop. The dive shop is unaffiliated with the Cooper Island Beach Club. The shop offers tours, full dive training, and a resort course where you can be scuba diving on the RMS RHONE in a couple of hours. —JR
It appears as many moorings as possible (about 30) have been packed in to the area, but south near Cistern Point they have left a small space for those who prefer to anchor instead of picking up a ball. If lucky enough to find swinging space, drop the hook 20–25 feet in the cove made by Cistern Point as it juts into the channel.
