Sprat Bay

Enjoy the Peter Island Resort or hike the trail over to Dead Man Bay.

Before entering cozy Sprat Bay, consider calling The Peter Island Resort (formerly the Peter Island Yacht Club) on VHF 16 to request a slip or inquire into the availability of a mooring. The bay is small and anchoring can be tight.

There are moorings deep into the cove but they are private and permission from The Peter Island Resort is needed to use them. The resort controls Sprat Bay and maintains a high standard for this hotel resort.

The resort’s restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. There is a dress code for dinner at the restaurant and in general the Peter Island Resort is more upscale than other laid-back resorts in the BVI. Prices are also correspondingly at the high end.
