Lower Belmont Bay
Can be rolly. The beach is beautiful; a nice secluded day shop.

Surprisingly, this beautiful spot is little used by cruisers or charterers.
The reasons for this are: (1) it is not mentioned by the major cruising guides and, (2) the charter companies do not provide convenient light ground tackle for fore-and-aft anchoring which is advised here, as a ground swell can work its way around Belmont Point.
All that is necessary to provide a comfy ride in this gorgeous bay is to point the bow at the swell and drop a stern anchor.
This is one of the nice, under-used coves in the BVI.
